Welcome to my home!

If I received a shekel for every time I was asked if I had a website...

I started my path as an artist on Facebook. I remember the first time I posted my art there. I felt so exposed! I was afraid of the criticism that could come and I didn't even sleep that night. I "got up" in the morning (because I didn't really sleep) and saw that nothing terrible had happened and all the fear was in my head. I got a few individual likes, something like 5 comments (of course, I had less than 100 friends on Facebook). Then I posted another painting, and another! I was still apprehensive, but I was getting used to the idea.

The number of friends increased, exposure increased, I started painting on commission, and friends contacted me again and again, to ask if I had a website. And me? What about me and a website? I answered: "Everything is here on Facebook!" then someone said, "But it's not that organized". Of course, I still wasn't convinced about the need for my own website - and I started Instagram, because it's neater, right?

Even after my neat Instagram, people kept asking me "but what about a website?"

I didn't feel significant enough to own a website. I also didn't see websites that I really liked and didn't connect to any. I somewhat reduced the value of the idea in general. In short, did I explain enough that I thought I didn't need a website?

So what changed?

One day I typed my name in Google, I saw a lot of results in the search and then suddenly I understood! I said to myself "Nofar, you appear on Google in many places, and none of the results are really you!"

At this point the decision was made. With the help of my partners, we built a website that is my home, designed in a way that I like, and with content that I like! nofartsuk.com is simply me without introductions.

Now I have calmed down and I can say:

"Welcome to my website and my new blog, I'm glad you're here!"
